I have used nasal irrigation (NI) for about four years for my mostly springtime allergies. Since starting to do it, i have not needed ANY prescription medications – NONE.  Occasionally use OTC antihistamines, but no where near as many as I did prior to doing NI. I don’t have to use NI as much as I used to either.

One of my brothers-in-law has had the same experience.

Anyone with airborne allergies should try nasal irrigation for a t least a week or two. It really works; the worst that will happen is nothing – no effect. But it will most likely ease or eliminate symptoms.

That's really good to hear! I need to put more effort into using it regularly...

I should add that I did the nasal irrigation the morning and evening, seven days a week when I started it. I think this is the fewest number of times a day to do it.
