We definitely need to have this legislation inacted...for the severely affected patients.

 

Some of whom full time work isn't an option when being treated for allergies/sinus issues.  As a sufferer who couldn't work in my former occupation of preschool teacher due to my health issues, it is definitey disableing when you can't continue to be exposed to germs that bring on infections and keep you on antibiotics which in turn create other health issues such as diahrea etc.

The Asthma and Allergy Foundation of America (AAFA), reported that the United States Senate unanimously passed the Americans with Disabilities Act Amendments Act late Thursday September 11.

That's great that it passed but will that include asthma/allergy affected people? My daughter has an "A" report card: asthma, allergies, atopic eczema, ADD-inattentive type and anxiety. I agree that just because the symptoms are "controlled" with medications doesn't mean the problems are GONE!
