That's a very informative post. It could also be alarming, the fact that we might not know if the person we're kissing has food allergy. Thanks for the recommendation. One good treatment for allergies is oreganol which is a very potent antiseptic.

This is great that the word is getting out there! I had this happen to me, I have a severe allergy to bananas (random I know) and I have had a reaction from kissing my boyfriend who had eaten a banana that morning. Know I am super careful and everyone thinks I am crazy!

Perhaps you should share this posting with your skeptical friends. Highly sensitive food allergic people have to stay on guard at meal time as well as when contacting other people that may have small inconspicuous amounts of food on the surface of their skin or in their mouth.
