May is Asthma and Allergy Awareness Month and we've created tools and provided information for you to get the most out of it.

 

It's not your imagination -- your hay fever is probably worse than it has been before and more and more people around you are suffering the same thing.

Allergic diseases -- including seaonal allergies, food allergies, asthma and autoimmune disorders -- are on the rise around the world.

 

Why is any one's guess, but there are scientisits working on it.

 

In the mean time, we're here to help you live your live without being limited by your allergies. We have dedicated an entire section of MyAllergyCentral.com to raising awareness in this month and there is plenty there to help you gain knowledge and learn interesting facts about allergies:
Asthma and Allergy Awareness Month

 

We've also brought on some well-known allergy experts on the Internet including Gina Clowes, founder of AllergyMoms.com and an outspoken food allergy advocate. Each week she will offer new tips on manging your child's food allergies and she will blog for the site each month after that.

 

Jamie Martin, owner of Meraby Allergy Family Foods, will also begin writing this month about living with her daughter's food allergies and starting a company with her husband to help other families like them.


Sloane Miller of AllergicGirl.blogspot.com will continue to talk about living as an adult with allergies, asthma and food allergies and intolerances.

 

Dr. James Thompson and nurse Kathi MacNaughton answer your questions and share information on the latest in allergy therapy and issues.
