This is an amazing article. I have children and a wife that suffered from all sorts of allergies. This article contains a lot of valuable information for grandparents. None of them are wrong BUT it takes a long time to get accustomed to this wast amount of information. And if you have in your family just one who says she/he is allergic to diaryproducts and often are seen on pictures eating softice - then many people will find all these restrictions you pose to your child are far out. But as you state - the consequences of letting go are really dangerous. Unfortunately my parents and with them most of my other family belonged to the last category.
