Curious if any one here knows how long it could take for the toxins(that cause the fatal reaction) of shellfish to leave the body?

My husband ate sushi last night and I dont want him to kiss or even touch me cuz im so afraid of the reaction it may cause... can anyone tell me if im being too paranoid or how long it would take for that to leave his body.... he didnt eat shellfish - but theres lots where his food was prepared - and I am fatally allergic.

He kissed me once afer eating crab, and my entire faced swelled and threw me into a reaction... im much more sensitive to it now - and am afraid that in kissing him it will enter my body and throw me into a reaction.

thanks for the adviced in advance....
