Panic or Allergies?

During a dinner out last week something happened that reminded me that I am really taking my life into my hands every time I eat away from home. itchy throat

I have suffered from allergies for most of my life. My worst month for allergies was around May and the off and on for the balance of the year. Early in my life it was tolerable and just lived with it. Now later in my life I have I am suffering more and more with running nose and itchy throat that turns into a coughing jag. Itchy Throat

Of all the allergy symptoms I have, an itchy throat is the most bothersome for me. The only relief is when I can eat something and I cannot eat all day. Anyone have any suggestions? I am currently taking Claritin and it's not doing its job!
