itchy palate

from time to time I get an itchy palate and it comes up in hives.  I am not sure what causes this.  I also get a croaky voice.  Can anyone help???

Itchy Throat

Of all the allergy symptoms I have, an itchy throat is the most bothersome for me. The only relief is when I can eat something and I cannot eat all day. Anyone have any suggestions? I am currently taking Claritin and it's not doing its job!
