Allergies at school can be a minor annoyance for kids with seasonal allergies, or it can be a serious issue for kids (and parents of kids) with food allergies. Talking to your school about your child's allergies, needs and medications is the first step to promoting a safe environment for your child. Also, educating your child about their allergies, and how to be safe at school is important to promoting awareness among his or her peers.
