Skin allergy occurs when your body reacts negatively after touching or exposure to another object. Rashes, inflammation, reddening, mild burning, and scaling are symptoms an allergic reaction. Soaps, detergents, make-up, perfumes, nickel, hair products, nickel, and chemicals in every day products are sources of irritation. Prescription steroids and antihistamines are common treatment for allergies.
