Hi Fallen... Great question! All allergies, whether to dogs, pollen, dust or anything else, typically cause the same set of symptoms:
- Sneezing
- Sniffly, runny nose
- Nasal congestion
- Itching of the nasal passages, inside the mouth and throat
- Eye itching, watering, redness, irritation or weeping
- Cough
You could have all or only some of these symptoms, and which ones you have might vary from day to day. To confirm any allergy, see an allergist and inquire about allergy testing. Also, keep a symptom diary recording when you come into contact with possible allergens and your symptoms. Be sure to share that info with your doctor.
To your health,
Kathi
