Q: one side of my nose is blocked, mucus is clear, throat is scratchy, what is it and how do i correct

I sing for a living, and recently I have been having problems with my throat feeling scratchy.  At night one side of my nose is completely stopped up, and remains about 85% blocked during the day.  Everything that comes out of my nose or I cough up is always clear.

 

I need help clearing this up because it is affecting my vocal ability!

If you are seriously concerned, then you should see your doctor right away.

 

It sounds like you might have a cold. Congestion, clear mucus and scratchy throat are all symptoms of the common cold -- but congestion and scratchy throat can also be caused by other conditions.
