Hi Mary,

Body aches, alone, may be caused by a large number of illnesses. In the setting of allergic symptoms involving the nose, eyes or lungs (hayfever, ocular allergy or asthma) body aches (as well as diarrhea and vomiting) are unusual.

A rare disease called systemic mastocytosis may sometimes have almost all of these symptoms but there are more common causes to be ruled out first.

As recommended by Joy B. in part 1 of your question, seeing your primary doctor as soon as you can is important.

To Your Health,

J. Thompson, MD

An allergy is the immune system's over-reaction to a normally harmless substance called an allergen.
