My face gets swelling particularly near eyes, lips and cheeks. I am a 7 year old boy. Please advise me the treatment. I take anti-allergy and the swelling subsides. Please let me know for how much time this allergy will prevail and are there any medicines which can permanently cure the problem of swelling.

If you get swelling around the eyes every time you are stung by a bee, then see your doctor because you are probably allergic to the bee stings.

Also, it's unlikely that you are getting swelling today from a bee sting that happened six months ago. There may be something else that is causing the swelling. Talk to your doctor so he (or she) can't help you figure out just what might be causing your symptoms.

An allergy is the immune system's over-reaction to a normally harmless substance called an allergen.
