i applied ointment in my face and it reacte immediately causing large allergic reaction

i have a white spot in my face and i applied an ointment then what happened after a day it become itchy and its spreading in my face? will this reacton stop for the next days??? this looks like redding chicken skin something?? and now it is scaly what does this means?
