'Had successful allergy shot therapy as a child. After recently being diagnosed allergic to Spring, Summer and Fall with lots of asthma triggers, I just started the shots again (50 yrs later). I get headaches within 15 minutes of the shot and urges to cry.  I don't usually get headaches nor do I cry randomly.  After the first shot I cried for 10 solid minutes and for no reason; within a few days I had a severe reaction for which my GP prescribed prednesone.  Now I just report the usual headache which the doctor & nurse dismiss, I swallow the urge to cry, but my eyes tear up anyway.  No other time has this happened.  My allergist says it's not related to the shots (all in my head). There are no emotional traumas or drama in my life right now.  The only thing new is the shots.
