Q: Is there an over the counter equivalent to Deconamine

Hi Claire,

 

Thank you for your question! Deconamine contains two active ingredients: pseudoephedrine and chlorpheniramine maleate. There are several over-the-counter medications available that contain this combination, but unfortunately they do not come in the same strength as the prescription form. The Deconamine should be available in a generic form at your pharmacy, or you could speak with your doctor about trying another medication that is available over-the-counter. Always be sure to confer with your doctor before starting, stopping, or changing any of your medications!

please let me know if their are a medicine like Deconamine over the counter or by percription
