Friend moved in and has had these symptoms for two months. I have 2 new cats at the same time. She has been to a Dr, but the medicine he gave her has not worked. Still very ill. I am just wondering if she could be allergic to the cats.

Hi Frost... Typical allergy symptoms are sneezing, runny & stuffy nose, chronic cough, perhaps wheezing if asthma is involved. These symptoms can interfere with sleep and so fatigue may also be a symptom. But nausea, chest congestion and muscle soreness are NOT typical allergy symptoms.
I would encourage your friend to go back to the doctor for further evaluation. Don't just assume what's going on is an allergy to cats.
Take care,
Kathi

Thank you very much for responding to my question. I have told her she needs to schedule another appointment with her Dr.
