Q: Is there any problem with taking Benadryl on a long-term daily basis?

I have been taking Benadryl  75mg. at bedtime and 50mg. in the AM.  I do not get sedated and it significantly decreases my sinus headaches.  Is there any danger in taking it in this manner?  I have noted some small skin spots that are raised and itch and become worse in cold weather.  Could this be related to the regular use of Benadryl?

Thank you
