Q: Allergy Symptoms Worsen after Immunotherapy - Coincidence?

Hello- I am a 32 year old mail that recently began immunotherapy for my dust mite allergy. my symptoms started about 9 months ago, and included severe sinus and head congestion and dizziness (often severe). i started to immunotherapy a few weeks ago, and after my second dose, my sensitivity to dust went haywire and i started to have difficulty breathing whenever i was in an even mildly dusty place (in addition to the original symptoms) the doctor put me on symbocort and my dosage has been reduced. he told me that the worsening of the symptoms are unrelated to the shots, which i find difficult to believe. is that true? is it merely a coincidence that taking the shots coincided with a worsening of my symptoms? the doctor recommends that i keep getting the shots but i'm not sure what to do. any guidance or suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
