Hi there,

If your lip swelling is indeed from an allergic reaction of some kind, then time is the best treatment. As long as the exposure stops (that is, you don't keep taking Nyquil), the symptoms should subside.

Putting an ice pack on your lip (or sucking on an ice cube or popsicle) for 5 to 10 minutes at a time over the next 24 hours may provide some additional relief.

More important is to figure out what may have triggered an allergic reaction, if that is what you're experiencing. Talking with your doctor and/or pharmacist may help with that.

Hope you're feeling better soon,

Kathi
