Hi Kalpana Rath,   There is currently no known cure for allergies. Once you have developed a sensitivity to something, it usually doesn't go away totally. That being said, however, people do occasionally "grow out" of allergies, though it is not as common as once thought.   Chances are, if you need allergy medicine to control your symptoms currently, then this will continue to be the case as time goes on. However, people who have moderate to severe symptoms can sometimes get relief from immunotherapy, which is offered both in shot form and -- especially in Europe -- in sublingual form (drops you put under your tongue).   Immunotherapy exposes you over and over to tiny amounts of substances you've proven to be sensitive to. The amount is slowly increased, and the idea is that the constant exposure will slowly acclimate you and reduce your sensitivity to the substance. Many people have great results from allergy shots, so it might be worth a conversation with your doctor, if you're interested.   To your health, Kathi
