Hi Sue,   Thanks for writing! It's always hard to know what will trigger an allergic reaction in different people. Generally microporous tape is hypoallergenic, but apparently you are sensitive to it. You might try a different brand or paper tape. Another option is to first spray the area to be taped with a skin barrier film like 3M's Cavilon.   Good luck to you, Kathi
