According to to the AAAAI, American Academy of Allergy Asthma & Immunology, milk allergies are quickly rising as a threat for anaphylaxis. Sloane Miller, a resident expert here, has an article outlining the AAAAI's position and research from a conference she attended. You can read the article here. There is also an article here where noted Author Alice Sherwood outlines the top allergens. She also notes the difference between allergy and intolerance. You can read the interview here. Because casein and whey are the two main protein allergens in milk, you should not eat foods that have these ingredients.
