Q: DUSTMITE ALLERGIES. WHAT IS THE BEST MEDICATION TO TAKE ?

I suffer from allergies to dustmites. When I am Florida - due to the humidity - my allergies go haywire and I am miserable ! I have been told to try Reactin or Allegra or Claritin.

I am wondering which of these or maybe another one would be best to use ? Also - I am wondering if it would be a good idea to take the medication a few days BEFORE arriving in Florida - to get it into my system ?

Try staying somewhere that caters for your allergies ie, allergy friendly accommodation. Just found this site www.allergyfriendlyhotels.com - hope you find something useful. I have a nasal spray nasonex but really the only thing that works is eliminating the exposure to dustmites.
