Hi Norton,

I would always advise that you discuss such things with your doctor or pharmacist first, as herbals supplements can sometimes interact in unexpected ways with pharmaceuticals. I don't know what else you are taking.

Nettle is generally considered quite safe to use, but common side effects can include:

mild stomach upset, fluid retention, and hives or rash (mainly from topical use). Also, nettle can interact with medicines used for blood thinning, high blood pressure, fluid retention, and diabetes.

So, if you want to try it, just talk with your doctor first to get the go-ahead!

To your health,

Kathi
