I am about to move into a new house, Looks like the previous owners had a cat so I got the carpets shampooed and steamed and even the air ducts and vents cleaned. But everytime I turn the AC or heat on I start getting horrible allergies and have trouble breathing. Is it the carpet or is the air? What do I do to get rid of this? I thought of replacing the carpet but I want to be sure that this the problem before I do so.
