Q: smells hyper parathyriod

Hi I have just be diagnosed with hyper parathyroid and slightly high calcium  levels due to a blood test while in hospital for an operation to repair a perforation to my ear drum  2mths ago . over the past two weeks I am starting to smell   a mild cigarette smoke which is nipping my nose,  but no one in my family smokes nor I..... and I hate cigarette smoke .. This comes and goes during the day and night... i am very tired theses days too.  I don't want to go to the doctor about this as he may think I am crazy. I don't suffer from migraines , but I did have a horrible headache for the first time in years over two weeks ago which sent me to bed with painkillers. Any clues  or do you think this is related to my parathyroid do I need to take thing further with my doctor?? i am still awaiting to se a speacilist regarding the parathyriod .
