Q: herpes virus in throat but now it is on bady will I have this for the rest of my life

Last summer I was very ill we had gotten back from Country fest and did bongs and tippy cup which you drink out of the same cup as strangers, two days later I didn't have an appetite and couldn't drink really because it hurt alot as days went on I couldn't drink or eat anything, went 6 days without any liquids and all together a week and a half without food, went to er and had 5 bags of iv fluids and they did a scope surgery and found I had cold sores down the lining of my esophogus and then within a few days I was able to get some things down, they said that my white cells were down and that this is why I couldn't fight this off, and was put on valtrex, now I don't get them in my throat but I get the blistery sore on my face and sometimes on arms, legs, so then I get on valtrex again and it dries up and goes away, my question is will I be on this all my life and will I always have this virus now? And do you think that I got it from doing those bongs and drinking out of other peoples cups?  If yes than why didn't others get it?

yes, you will always have the virus. it will pop up when sick or stressed ask your

doctor if you can take l lysine its all natural. Only take stuff that your doctor approves of or you can ask your pharmicist.

You would need to take llysine when you feel the tingling sensation.

But always ask you doctor before taking any over the counter meds.
