Q: can you be allergic to razor's ?

my daughter's legs are so broke out. we have been told that it is razor burn. But if it is then why doesn't her other places other than legs brake out when she shaves. Her legs look like she has poison ivy. And when it heals it leave a scar. Sometimes it looks like a zit and is large a puss comes out and it itches like wild fire. But she is not allergic to poison ivy. she is a model and i want to save her legs if i can. please help me.

this is worth seeing a doctor or dermatologist about. the itching like wild fire sounds like herpes. it can be anywhere. and it very contagious, to other parts of one's body as well as other people. the only control for this is a prescription. you can get generics. you can take it at flare ups or as a long term preventative if you have a lot of outbreaks. there is no cure. but it might be something else entirely. take some of the modeling fees and see a doctor ASAP.
