I have recently had allergy testing done and a very mild reaction to dairy came up. I have a lot of abdomanol pain and cramping , bloating and diareah and have been tested for other intestinal diseases but the dairy is what they think it could be. My question is : can a mild allergy to dairy or any type of food cause weight gain or at least make it difficult to lose weight if you continue to consume the food you have an allergy to?

An allergy is the immune system's over-reaction to a normally harmless substance called an allergen.
