Hi Tiearna,

 

In researching this issue for you, I couldn't find any listing of sore neck associated with chicken pox. I did find a sore throat and achiness listed, so it may be possible. However, any time that you are concerned about a symptom or have questions, I would encourage you to call your pediatrician. As a parent, you have both a right and a responsibility to get your questions answered.

 

And generally, what we fear is far worse than how reality works out. Still, better safe than sorry and to put your mind at rest.
