Q: Does the cream or whatever it is, called Little Allergies Allergen Block work?

I am an adult and want to try it.  I got a soar throat, a runny nose and post nasal drip from a dog I had when I was a kid.  I volunteer at two animal shelters walking dogs and also want to get a full time job taking care of dogs.  If I do use it do I have to worry about getting asthma if I work around dogs?

I want to know if it will work against seasonal allergies too?  Let me know if you have tried it and how well it worked, or if your an allergiest, etc.?

Hi Brady... As you can see, I'm a nurse AND an allergy sufferer. I think the jury is still out on these allergy block gels. Some people have found them to be effective, while others, including me, haven't. I have severe allergies.

Being around dogs doesn't cause allergies or asthma. But if you are still allergic to dogs and you have nasal allergies and/or allergic asthma, being around them might trigger symptoms. But just because you were allergic as a child doesn't mean you are still allergic either.

My advice is to try the allergen block and see if it works for you. There are no side effects you need to worry about, so it's a fairly low risk experiment.

To your health,

Kathi
