Has anyone heard of a severe stomach reaction to Salsa Verde

A couple of weeks ago my daughter made enchiladas with salsa verde. It is pure and has no preservitives. I had a terrible stomach ache right after I ate, then I threw up and had gas pains that felt like someone was stabbing me in the stomach. I also felt flushed and almost passed out several time...
