There is not yet an over the counter version of Allegra, unfortunately. But Claritin and Zyrtec are very similar and may work as well for you. Each person is different. Some people swear by each of those, and both are available over the counter.

 

Even if they don't work quite as well, they may do well enough to hold you over until you can get a new prescription for Allegra.

I would try Zyrtec.  I find it works as well or better than Allegra.  In a pinch, you might consider Claritin.
