would allergy shots relieve swollen allergy eyes?

My eyes swell, top and bottom lids, and itch along the lash line. I haven't yet found anything that relieves it. I've even tried steriod ointment. I do take Zyrtec, but nothing seems to help. I look like I've been crying for days, all the time.
