Q: side affects of cortisone

I recently had cortisone injections in both my knees due to an injury and I had a bad reaction. My heart was racing and I had the shakes for about a week. This has since resolved for the most part. My question is can the cortisone affect my blood pressure? It has soared since having the injection and I am wondering if it could be because of that?
