Hi Joanne,   As you know Drixoral has been a hot topic on this website for several weeks. I have discussed this issue with pharmaceutical reps that come to my office to provide information and samples of other Schering drugs (Clarinex, Nasonex etc.).   I recently received an email from another Schering official that confirmed the halt on production of Drixoral. It may come back but there is no established timetable for the return of Drixoral . Whether it will be re-formulated with a substitute for the pseudoephedrine component was not stated (but I suspect it will, if it comes back).   In the mean time here are two hyperlinks that provide more food for thought. 1- Drixoral addressed by J. Thompson 2- Drixoral addressed by Joy Buchanan Best to you,   J. Thompson, MD.
