According to the National Institute on Alcohol Abuse and Alcoholism, drinking alcohol while taking Zyrtec can cause drowsiness, dizziness and/or increased risk for overdose.

unfortunately, my doctor wasn't much of a help. she said that you'd certainly be fine with one drink. but the excessiveness wasn't exactly confronted. pharmcists i've called haven't been a great deal of help either.
but thank you, and yeah i'm just trying to be as safe as possible.
curious as to the specifics on the overdose issue. i hope that only refers to extremely excessive drinking.
