OMG, I have exactly the same thing as you, Michelle. I live near San Diego, and have been to the ocean in California, Hawaii, and Florida before. This year, two weeks ago, I went to the same beach I usually go to, and got the reaction you described. This weekend, I went to a different beach near by, same thing. There were many people in the water, and I didn't see anyone else with similar reaction. So it was just me. Today I rinsed after getting out of the water and the "hive" went away in a few minutes, much faster than it did the first time. I tried to search for an answer online but could not find anything definite. I wonder if this has gone away since the last time you posted.
