Yes they can, but need to be some distance apart.  You are looking for a reaction to an antigen in the skin that reflects systemic disease.  Candida is just a test to see if you have ANY immune response, it is not looking for a Candida infection  In theory, everyone will react to Candida therefore your immune system is working and you don't have anergy (no immune response to anything).    The ppd is looking for exposure to TB (not necessarily HAVING TB, just exposure to someone with TB).  Of course if you do have TB, the ppd will also be positive in almost all cases.
