I use Nasonex nasal spray to help with the following:
- It relieves all my hayfever symptoms (itchy eyes & throat, snivels, sneezes, blocked nose)
- It helps reduce allergy reactions to animals (including asthma)
- It usually improves my ability to breathe through my nose
I take one spray (each nostril) every day usually, when hayfever is high or I'm visiting a house with pets sometimes two sprays and/or twice a day. Sometimes I reduce this to one every other day or every few days when I'm feeling ok.I'm wondering - what are the long term side effects and is there a more permanent proactive 'cure' as opposed to this reactive steroid treatment?
When i'm not taking this I can't actually breathe though my nose, even if I'm not having any allergic symptoms, my main beef is to be able to breathe through my nose comfortably!PS, while I was young (i'm 31 now) I used to think the nose was just for smelling and never realised people actually breathed through it!
