how come when i eat cooked shrimp nothing happens to me, but when i eat raw shrimp i can't breathe?

also i live in maryland so eating seafood is part of my daily life. ive never felt nothing after eating them, but when they are raw i get shortness of breath or i feel as though iam dying of suffication then i get white welts on my skin and face. there is a burning sensation as well as a itchy…
