what could this red blotchy itchy rash on my legs and wrists be?
Three days ago I woke with red itchy bumps, some blotchy that form a line spred out only on my legs. and today I have a few bumps on my wrists. They are very itchy and burn.I have not been itching them and they seem to have spred slowy but more each day. I have not been on any medications, but i have resently been in the wood and cleaned home and clothes with new stuff. I have searched many of online pictures for a simlor rash but I can not find what mine looks like.
Had same symptoms. Found out that it was a reaction to cement dust which has live organisms which stick to skin & enter blood stream. Some have reactions, most don't. I work in a factory & there are others with the same problem. Washing asap controls it. Could be a number of things. Just FYI because not many people are not aware of this situation.

Daisy,
It can be fruitless at best and dangerous at worst to try to diagnose your own symptoms. Skin rashes may be caused by many factors. Allergies are only one cause. And even if it is allergies, there are so many things you could be allergic to. So my advice is to follow up with a doctor who can examine your rash in person and make a better determination as to what may be going on.
To your health,
Kathi

Thank you very much for your input. I was searching the word of how the rash looked and I was not actual searching what it could be. I did more research and found that my symptom were near similar to poison ivy. I did see a doc. this morning and in dead this is what it was. I have now closer to this nasty reaction from the poison ivy plant. again thank you!
