I have found that a combination of Sudafed 12 hour decongestant and Chlor-Trimeton (antihistamine) work reasonably well.  I had a few days of headaches and nausea while switching to the new antihistamine but nothing like I got when I tried others.  You do have to take the Chlor-Trimeton every 4 hours but I've since it seems to work the best for me it is worth it.  I've also found that using the generatic equivalent of both makes it less expensive too.
