For the past few weeks, I have been trying trying to find Drixoral. What other medicine is comparable to Drixoral and why is it taken off the market?
I have been taking Drixoral for 30yrs. I started when it was still a prescription. The reason they are taking it off the market is because of the psuedoephedrine in it. Any of the allergy and cold medicines that have this was put behind the counter because of people buying this and gleaning this drug to make methamphetimines. Drixorals sales went down so they are reformulating it so it can be sold as before. The psuedoephedrine in it is what worked so well and will not be in the new formulation. Hence will not work like before. I also am trying to find something that works as well. I have chronic sinus that backs up into the lymph glands behind my ears. I too will get mine out of Canada until I can find something that works here as well. Hope this answers what happened.
