I am allergic to certain soft cheeses but not others. Do you know why?

I am able to eat certain soft cheeses like gorgonzola and roquefort, yet brie, camembert and soft goats cheese bring on a severe allergic reaction including nausea and vomiting, diarrhoea and abdominal pain that normally lasts 24 - 48 hours. I have had a penacillium anaesthetic recently and suffered no side effects. Any ideas what could be causing this reaction?

An allergy is the immune system's over-reaction to a normally harmless substance called an allergen.
