Q: allergic reaction and into shock

I am a 49 year old male, and work in a healthy environment, the outdoors.I have only recently had at least 6 shocking allergic reactions in a span of six months. I would say that i am  extremely tough, being able to withstand severe conditions in the Malaysian jungle...I do not drink alcoholic beverages but i do smoke. In the mean time i have had some blood tests done, here in Langkawi and the only thing that was highlighted was that my billirubin was on the high side. Other than that the doctor said that i am as fit as a fiddle.

I read somewhere that there may be a possibilty that this could be linked to the liver not functioning as well as it can.
