Q: Can I Take Claritin And Benadryl At The Same Time?
People do sometimes take them together, but as the other poster said, they ARE both allergy medicines, so whether you'd get any greater control over allergies by taking two such similar medicines is doubtful. And Benadryl has a side effect of drowsiness on top of it all.

They are both an allergy medication it would be like taking a double does of either so no I would not take them together .
