Q: Do I need to take allergy relief over a number of days for it to have any effect?

I've been taking one tablet every time I think I'm going to a swimming pool which seems to have a nasty effect on my sinuses, but I'm wondering if I need to be on it several days before I swim as well.

You don't say what you are taking for allergies, but yes, although most allergy medicines do provide some relief almost immediately, they may not reach full effectiveness for 7 to 10 days of continuous use. But this really depends on what you are using.
